Castulo de la Rocha - Featured Speaker
On May 11, 2009, over 75 members and guests benefited from hearing Castulo de la Rocha, CEO & President Altamed Health Services share his personal story of how he built a small free clinic in East Los Angeles into one of the largest non profit organizations in the State of California.
Mr. de la Rocha emphasized the importance of having a large vision in order to make changes in our community.
Also recognized that evening were:
- Ali Cayir, President Transtech Engineers for receiving the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor earlier this month in New York City.
- Frank Quevedo who recently retired as VP Equal Opportunity Southern California Edison, who has been a long time supporter of CHCCLI.
- Anna Frutos- Sanchez, Public Affairs Manager Southern California Edison and outgoing CHCCLI board member over 8 years.
- Michael Leong, President of Velodea Media for his contributions to CHCCLI and the chccleadership.org website.
